About Us
Powerworld is a digital marketing agency based in Galway, serving the whole island of Ireland.
The passion for marketing started in college after completing a Business Information Systems degree in 2021. From there came an internship at one of Ireland's leading digital marketing agencies, followed by two years working directly with some of Ireland's most recognisable brands — learning the industry inside out.
Two years in Australia followed; labouring, shuttering and working as a trade assistant on building sites. Working alongside hundreds of tradies, the same problems kept coming: no systems in place, losing out on higher-paying jobs to competitors and unsure of how to optimise their online presence.
That's where the idea for Powerworld was born. Tradesmen didn't need another generic marketing agency — they needed someone who understood the hours they worked, the unpredictability of the schedule, the fact that they're on the tools all day and haven't got time to be thinking about Facebook ads or websites. What they wanted wasn't fancy marketing talk, they wanted results. More calls, better jobs, closer to home.
